Certification That Separates Us from Independent Technicians
Our technicians are certified through the Certified Fitness Equipment Technician Program (CFET), a proprietary training framework combining classroom instruction, hands-on practice, video coursework, and supervised field work. Every technician in the national network trains to the same requirements and is held to the same performance benchmarks. That consistency can differ when you hire a solo technician or a local shop without a shared training standard.
Beyond the CFET Program, our technicians carry direct manufacturer certifications from Life Fitness, Matrix, Precor, Technogym, Cybex, Nautilus, StairMaster, and TRUE. That matters for warranty compliance. Repairs performed by an uncertified technician may affect manufacturer warranties; ours are performed by certified technicians.
Every service call is documented with a work order and photos. Before closing any visit, technicians perform a safety check and apply lubrication where needed, giving you a clear record of what was done and what condition the equipment is in.
Our approach is brand-agnostic. We don’t push equipment replacement when repair is the right answer, and we schedule around your peak hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to help keep disruption to members and residents low.
Fitness Equipment Services We Offer
We service both cardio and strength equipment across a full range of makes and models. Common repair issues include belt slippage, speed irregularities, resistance problems, error codes, cable and pulley wear, and unusual noises during operation.
Preventive Maintenance visits follow a scheduled checklist covering cleaning, lubrication, cable and belt inspection, and safety checks, with a maintenance summary provided after each visit. Plans are available on monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly schedules and are tailored to facility size, usage, and budget. Home gym owners receive the same certified standard of service as our commercial clients.

Ohio’s winters push more activity indoors, accelerating wear on treadmills, ellipticals, and strength equipment. Scheduled Preventive Maintenance during high-use seasons can help keep machines operational when your members need them most.

Call (440) 335-5370 to speak with our team and schedule service. Have your facility type, equipment brands and models, and a description of the issue ready, and we can match you with the right appointment.
When you contact us, our team gathers information about your facility, the equipment involved, and the issues you’re seeing before scheduling an on-site visit. That upfront detail helps us arrive prepared with the right tools and documentation.
On-site, the technician visually inspects the affected machines, runs diagnostic tests, and records findings in a work order with photos. Findings are explained in plain terms before any work begins, and you approve the scope before the technician proceeds.
If the repair can be completed that visit, the technician performs the work, tests the machine under load, completes a safety check, and disinfects high-touch areas before closing out. If parts are required, the technician reviews that with you, orders parts after your approval, and schedules a follow-up visit once they arrive.
Preventive Maintenance visits follow a structured checklist: thorough cleaning of accessible interior and exterior areas, lubrication, adjustments to manufacturer specifications, and cable and belt inspection, with a safety check and visit summary at the end of each appointment. Knowing this process in advance helps facility managers communicate timelines to ownership and coordinate around member schedules without delays.
Preventive Maintenance vs. Reactive Repair
Facilities that rely solely on reactive repair tend to face higher per-incident costs, longer total downtime, and less predictable maintenance budgets. A machine that fails mid-peak hour can create member complaints, negative reviews, and pressure from ownership that a proactive schedule can help reduce.
Regular Preventive Maintenance visits identify worn components, belt tension issues, and lubrication needs before they pull a machine out of service. Equipment manufacturers publish recommended maintenance schedules; following those schedules supports warranty compliance and can extend machine lifespan. Our plans are available on monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly visit frequencies, scoped to your facility’s size, usage level, and budget.
Industries We Serve in the Cleveland Area
Commercial clients across the western suburbs and greater Cleveland region depend on equipment uptime to meet member expectations, address liability concerns, and protect their investment in fitness infrastructure. We work with a range of facility types, each with distinct operational demands.
Health Clubs
High equipment utilization and member expectations make downtime costly. Scheduled maintenance helps keep cardio and strength equipment performing at the level members expect.
Hotels
Broken fitness center equipment can generate negative guest reviews and affect property ratings. Our scheduling flexibility means repairs can happen without disrupting guest-facing hours.
Apartment Complexes & Condominiums
Fitness amenities are a key leasing factor. Property managers are responsible for keeping that equipment operational, and residents notice quickly when they don’t.
Colleges & Universities
Recreation centers run at peak utilization during academic terms, accelerating wear on all equipment types. Scheduled Preventive Maintenance during term breaks can reduce the risk of high-traffic failures.
Corporations
Corporate wellness rooms serve employees whose schedules don’t accommodate off-peak appointments. Our early morning, evening, and weekend availability fits that environment.
Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Centers
Clinical-use settings require equipment that meets safety standards. Our certified technicians and documented service records support the compliance requirements these facilities operate under.
Home Gym Owners
Residential clients receive the same CFET-certified standard of service as our commercial accounts. If a treadmill belt is slipping or an elliptical is throwing error codes, the process and documentation are identical.

An extremely reputable and efficient company
An extremely reputable and efficient company to deal with. I have a FreeMotion treadmill that has had issues from day one; I have had two other companies out, and no one has been able to fix the problem. Justin was professional and extremely knowledgeable!!! He was on time, found the issue almost immediately, and handled it!! I was so happy to finally find someone who could diagnose and fix the problem right the first time. This will be my go-to company with any issues I have and highly recommend them to everyone!!!

Could Not Be Happier With the Service
My NordicTrack rower stopped working (monitor, resistance motor, and later found wiring problems). Fitness Machine Technicians came out and diagnosed the problems and helped me coordinate ordering the correct parts from iFit (parts were still under warranty). Once the parts arrived, Fitness Machine Technicians came back and installed all new parts and got my rower back in working order. They were great to work with, the technician was on time for my appointment and was totally knowledgeable about my machine. Could not be happier with the service. I highly recommend them!
